Kate Allen
Treasurer
Kate has been an integral part in West Side and its board since 2021, and has been volunteering with us for over 10 years. When her girls were growing up, Kate served as the Membership Director and VP for the Mansfield Mother’s Club, volunteering in her daughter's classrooms and with the PTO, organizing dinners and bookfairs. Kate spent many a night over the years clipping and bagging what felt like 100,000 box tops for education. Throughout the years she has formed lifelong friendships with those she has worked with.
Throughout her career, Kate has held roles in publishing and account management. Her longstanding commitment to service is evident in her dedication to the town of Mansfield especially over the past 11 years while she has been the Meals on Wheels driver for the Council on Aging in Mansfield, delivering lunch to homebound seniors in Mansfield.
Kate lives in Mansfield with her husband John, her daughters Sophia and Amelia, and temperamental cat Ivar. When she’s not assisting the residents of Mansfield, Kate loves to read books in paper form, garden (flowers, not vegetables!), do puzzles, go to the theater, and find new restaurants in the area.
